Bonnie Wan a Partner and Head of Strategy at Goodby Silverstein and Partners and creator of “The Life Brief.” As a career brand strategist, Bonnie has spent the last three decades working with companies to articulate the essence of who they are and why they exist through a tool called the Brief.  This simple and sharp articulation of purpose is used to keep brands anchored in who they are while offering a springboard for creative action.

And ultimately, it’s a North Star for future direction and a springboard for action. As a veteran advertising strategist, I’ve spent over 25 years writing briefs for world-class brands. Then, in a moment of personal turmoil, I stopped and wondered, why not write one for myself?

These exercises are designed for you to revisit again and again. Because your Life Brief is a living document, you can come back to it anytime you find yourself lost or confused.

This workbook is not designed to be precious or perfect.  It’s a place to dig in, get messy and play with possibility.  Get one or get five.  There are no rules.
